Wedding Shoes
We are still deeply invested in all things wedding. Let’s talk about the very crucial topic of wedding shoes. The biggest debate - comfort vs. sexy. There’s so many different factors to take into consideration when picking a wedding shoe; is it outside? Inside? Lots of stairs? Cobblestone? Beach? Grass? Snow?
Although you might not be able to see your shoes depending on your dress, you need to think of your shoes as an accessory to your wedding look. It plays a huge roll and ties the whole look together, so you need to pick something you love and won’t be mad at while looking at your wedding pictures in 10 years. If anyone wanted to know, that’s how I planned my entire wedding, with that exact question in my head - how will I feel about this in 10 years while looking at my wedding pictures? I wanted everything to be timeless.
I knew I wanted something sexy, but I also knew I needed a backup pair because after being in 4 inch heels all day, I knew my feet would need a break. I went with Rene Caovilla because of the sexy elongated look they give your leg. I debated between the classic Manolo Blahnik’s and Jimmy Choo’s but I really just envisioned these shoes with my dress. My dress, designed by Pnina Tornai, was so special and unique that I wanted my shoes to match that same look. I love that some brides have their shoes as their “something blue” and add a chic little blue shoe to accessorize. You can find some of my favorite wedding shoes here.
