Tips for Dry January

If you’re struggling during dry January this year, you’re not alone.

Taking a break from alcohol has a ream of benefits such as- better sleep, less anxiety, more energy, improving skin conditions, low blood and Sugar pressure, less inflammation and so much more. I’ve gathered some tips to help myself reach the finish line and mentioned some non-alcoholic beverages here.

• Find a non alcoholic beverage - this will help you feel less fomo (fear of missing out) when you also have a fun drink to enjoy without all of the guilt in the morning. Saves ourselves the traumatic next day stress of not feeling our best, will keep you hydrated and contains antioxidants. Yes please!
• Staying active - when you’re not having so much alcohol it helps you to perform better actively and mentally. My workouts are stronger and I have more energy to focus on work and my day to day activities. This also helped me to lose weight because I’m not binge eating after a night of drinking.
• Find someone to do it with - finding someone to do dry January with will help hold you accountable and will make you more motivated to stick to it and make it to the end. You can enjoy all the detoxing benefits together.
