My Homemade Electrolyte Elixir

Coconut Water

The electrolytes in coconut water include, potassium, sodium and magnesium. Coconut water has charged minerals that help you stay hydrated. Boosts energy levels, improve cognition, reduce the occurrence of headaches, reduces joint pain, and improves heart health.

 Grapefruit Juice

Benefits immune system, improves heart health, high in powerful antioxidants. It is great for hydration because it contains a high level of water content. It’s filled with fiber to improve gut health, healthier cholesterol levels, weight management. It also contains vitamin C and vitamin A and so much more.

 Lemon Juice

Lemon juice has so many amazing benefits. It has potassium, thiamin, vitamin B6 and folate. Lemon juice also contains vitamin C which is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

 Himalayan Sea Salt

Flushes out toxins, reduce puffiness and bloating. Himalayan sea salt contains tons of minerals including magnesium, calcium, and potassium. This helps to stimulate circulation and detoxify the body.

 Raw Honey

Great source of antioxidants, brain booster, cough suppressant and improves digestion. It contains sodium, magnesium, potassium, and calcium. Raw honey contains tons of vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, enzymes, and amino acids.


 Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup of Coconut Water

  • 1 Grapefruit Juiced

  • 1 Lemon Juiced (I like it tart. If you do not like it tart,

measure the lemon according to taste)

  • Pinch of Himalayan Sea Salt

  • Sometimes I will add a tiny little teaspoon of raw honey to

sweeten it up a bit.

 Instructions

Stir all together, pour over ice and enjoy!
