How I Prepped For My Wedding

Facials Every Four Weeks

I made sure to get facials every four weeks nine months before my wedding. In between those sessions I did Morpheus8. Morpheus8 is a microneedling device that utilizes radiofrequency energy to remodel and contour the face and body. This treatment penetrates deep into the skin for a sleeker, smoother appearance.

Is It Too Late to Elope?

Kidding! I loved everything about our wedding but there is A LOT of planning that goes into it.

Had Each Outfit Picked Out Strategically For Each Event

With a wedding comes several different events leading up to it. It was important to me to make sure each outfit was strategically picked out. I had a vision that I wanted for each event and I was adamant about finding the perfect look for each one. I wanted outfits that were timeless, classic and something that I would still be proud of in ten years. Remember my wedding motto?

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

I swear by lymphatic drainage massages. They have so many amazing benefits. They break down cellulite and fat cells, helps reduce stress marks, eases tension in the body (hello wedding stress), debloats and depuffs, speeds up healing from cold and flu, reduces water retention, and so much more.

Laser Hair Removal

I started the whole laser hair removal process a little over a year before my wedding to ensure that I would be nice and smooth; and prepared for all the events.

Dyed my Hair

I had my hair dyed a month in advance to make sure the color settled in so that it would look perfect with the flash from the cameras.

Diligent With my Workouts and Meals

I was very diligent with my workouts (basically to keep me sane) and my meals this way I could feel my best. We went to Tulum, Mexico for my bachelorette party so I wanted to make sure that I would feel comfortable being in a bikini the whole time. I wanted to feel great the day of my wedding and for my honeymoon and I was so happy to feel so comfortable in my own skin.

Checklists

I had several different checklists to make sure that I was keeping up with everything. Planning a wedding is not for the weak and I felt it was easiest for me to check off things as I go to keep everything organized.

Handled Things Way in Advance

I had a majority of things handled way in advance this way I wouldn’t panic leading up to the wedding. In fact, I was kind of bored while planning the wedding up until about three months before. That’s when my wedding dress came in, my shower dress, my bachelorette party, and lastly all the little details right before the wedding.
